Closing Prayer: (Provided by Baptist Union for Christmas 2020)
May the God who loved so much that he climbed into our world, into our neighbourhood, into our humanity, stir up love and compassion in our hearts this Christmas.
May the Holy Spirit who conceived new life within Mary, grow life and love and light and hope within our homes and families and communities this Christmas.
May the miracle of Jesus, Son of God, born for us, deepen our faith and expand our expectations that with God the impossible is possible.
And as the infant Jesus nestled contentedly in the manger, may you know and trust that the Lord is with you; blessing, protecting, enfolding and upholding you and those you love this Christmas.
