Introductory Instrumental Piece: 'All my days'

Welcome

We are so glad that you are joining with us today for this service and we greet you Jesus’ Name

Opening Prayer

Worthy of praise from every mouth,
Of confession from every tongue,
Of worship from every creature
Is Your glorious name, O Father, Son, and Holy Ghost:
Who created the world in Your grace
And by Your compassion saved the world.
To Your majesty, O God, then thousand times ten thousand
Bow down and adore, singing and praising without ceasing
And saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of Hosts;
Heaven and earth are full of Your praises;
Hosanna in the highest.
Amen.

Old Testament Reading Psalm 119 vs9-16

How can a young person stay on the path of purity?
By living according to Your word.
I seek You with all my heart;
do not let me stray from Your commands.
I have hidden Your word in my heart
that I might not sin against You.
Praise be to You, LORD;
teach me Your decrees.
With my lips I recount
all the laws that come from Your mouth.
I rejoice in following Your statutes
as one rejoices in great riches.
I meditate on Your precepts
and consider Your ways.
I delight in Your decrees;
I will not neglect Your word.

Prayer

Almighty God, our Father, We thank you for the blessings of our country and for the freedom which we enjoy.
We pray for our Queen and her family, and for those who govern and protect us in her name.
Give them health and strength, wisdom and courage, so that they may carry out their many duties in the best interests of all.
Let those who are in authority and who wield power remember that they are ultimately Your servants,
and that Your Son came to serve rather than to be served. Lord, in Your mercy: please hear our prayer, as we present it in Jesus’ Name and for His glory.
Amen.

Benediction

The Light of God surrounds us;
The Love of God enfolds us;
The Power of God protects us;
The Presence of God watches over us;
Wherever we are, God is with us.
And so we go forth in hope and peace.
Amen.
